How to Fix Your Windows XP SP2 Registry So You Can View EXE Ebooks (cont.)

10) Rename the new key to "Adv AddrBar Spoof Detection" (without the quotation marks, of course) like you see in the picture below.

11) Now, RIGHT-CLICK on the new key, Adv AddrBar Spoof Detection select NEW from the menu then select DWORD VALUE from the sub-menu, like you see in the picture below:

12) A new registry value should appear with the name "New Value #1". RIGHT CLICK on "New Value #1" as seen below and rename this value to "Enable" (without the quotation marks, of course).

13) Your screen should look like the picture below. You don't need to modify the settings under "Enable". The value should automatically be set to "0X00000000 (0)" as shown below.

14) After you have completed the above steps you can close the Registry Editor window by clicking on the red "X" in the upper right corner of the registry editor window, as shown below...

15) RESTART your computer so that these registry changes you have made will take effect.
You are now FINISHED! Now open an EXE ebook that you could not read before and try to navigate through the pages. All the pages should open and display properly and the EXE ebook should now be fully functional on your computer.
